GRAND MASTER'S MESSAGE

The Grand Master's Message

Dear Brethren, esteemed visitors,

Welcome to the website of the Count Sava Vladislavich Raguzinsky Grand Lodge, in the Orient of Novi Sad. Through these pages, we wish to share with you the spirit of our brotherhood, the values we cherish and the meaning of the work to which we are devoted.

Freemasonry sets before us a quiet but demanding task: to know ourselves and patiently shape our own character. This work calls for sincerity, perseverance and a willingness to listen to others. Its progress can be seen in the reliability of our word, the fairness of our actions and the care we extend to those with whom we share our lives.

In the Lodge, we meet as brothers, aware that each of us brings a different experience and that each still has much to learn. Brotherhood is built on trust: the freedom to ask a question, the courage to acknowledge a mistake and the consideration to express disagreement with dignity. In such relationships, we find encouragement to be more responsible towards ourselves and others.

The Worshipful Lodges Gvozdeni Puk, Patrijarh Pavle and Akacija work under the protection of our Grand Lodge. By cultivating different ritual expressions, we preserve a space for careful study of tradition and a shared dedication to Masonic work. We respect the distinctive character of each Lodge and the responsibility of its brethren to pass on the heritage entrusted to them with understanding and moderation.

The name of Count Sava Vladislavich Raguzinsky reminds us of the value of knowledge, patient dialogue and understanding between different peoples and cultures. In that name, we find encouragement to broaden our horizons and place our abilities at the service of useful and responsible action.

Wisdom, strength and beauty find their fullest meaning when they become part of everyday life. Wisdom helps us reflect before we judge. Strength keeps us faithful to our commitments even when they are difficult. Beauty teaches us moderation, harmony and respect for the dignity of every person.

I understand the responsibility of the Grand Master as service to the brotherhood: to listen attentively, encourage orderly and dedicated work, and safeguard the trust placed in him. Every office carries a duty to act conscientiously, and every responsibility entrusted to us demands personal example.

To the brethren, I wish perseverance in their work, joy in learning and the strength to nurture harmony. To those who are just becoming acquainted with Freemasonry, I extend an invitation to read, reflect and ask questions. If you recognise your own aspirations in these values, you are welcome to contact us. A sincere and thoughtful conversation is a good beginning to getting to know one another.

May what we learn in the temple be visible in the good we do beyond it.

WITH FRATERNAL GREETINGS,

MOST WORSHIPFUL GRAND MASTER
Brother M∴Đ∴G∴
